Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Oil Filter

so ya, laugh it up. im doing an oil filter and box in 3D.

mainly just to test out some lighting and texturing skills.

i only have first stage shaders on this filter, i still need to add extensive textures and start/finish the box in which it would have come in.

so let me know what you think so far. maxwell render sampling level of 20 (because i left it to render and wasnt home for a day)

this is the first test renders, there will be more to come. there will be no "wip" per say, mainly just progression renders.

after all, its a very simple object anyone can model.

i finished texturing the filter itself. next is to add the plastic covering and texture print on the cover, as well as the cardboard box it comes in.

my style and workflow is aimed toward real life, as in trying to get a job with a corporate company. i have to think about how a corporate company could use me.

i dont see myself working for a company that does any kind of fantasy work.

are you joking or are you just that bad at judging quality?

if you were serious, you need to put down your star wars action figures and read a book on lighting/rendering
