Bring back some classic challenges

hey yall,

i was thinking about all the great old challenges we used to have like the "old game characters" challenge, and all the other ones, and it made me really want to have those challenges again... they were awesome, and alot of people participated,

anybody feel the same way?

I like the FX challenges but does every challenge have to be FX, why not switch it up every competition. Make on FX, make another modeling. Throw some variety in there let people build some skills and then maybe we'll see some more participation as time goes onuser added image

i know right?
2 FX challenges in a row?
they should try to change the challenges alot to get some truly unique ones..
i would love that...
maybe a super low-poly challenge where the character has to be under 500 triangles or something cool like that

ooh those kinds of details I like.
Especially if they were to say model this (and link an image or something everyone knows) and limit the poly count to a level of difficulty and see what people can produce.

I like that idea.

All kinds of neat things that could be done.

the idea is that the FX challenges run along side the regular challenges, but the guy that organises them is taking a braek

Cant quite remember exactly where the thread is but I think that the thread was in the Dynamics and SFX forum, where Rage asked about who was interested.
