Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

how to make winding emmisions

How do you make the particles emitted from an emitter spiral upwards to a different height or maybe how to make the particles go along a certain path to its target location

I can help you out with the second one..

to make particles go into a certian path, select the particles, hit CTRL A and then click on the emitter1 tab... go down to "basic Emitter Attributes" and then from Emiter Type, select "Directional" then below it set up where you want the direction to be (x,y,z..)

to make the particles go in a spiral, one way is to spin/rotate the emitter.

Good luck

Create a curve in the shape you want, then use it as a motion path for the emiter.
