Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

3dM@niak - March/April

here we go user added image here's concept, something like assault machine, steam powered, with automatic-arrow-launcher, 2 cutters and 4 legs user added image First i wanted to do something with a zeppelin, but i decided to do this... U think it's good enough or should i make another sketch?

Probably will make many changes during modeling, it's easier to correct some things in 3d than on sketch user added imagehttps://img231.imageshack.us/img231/8...smallerbm3.jpg

i usually don't stop after making one sketch only, and i'm not to satisfied with first one (very large, but not to interesting) so i decided to try making something smaller, but more interesting...
In steampunk my favorite idea is flying - so i decided to give it a try user added image user added image like a jet, but steamy way user added image

I prefer this second sketch... what do you think?

hmm... keep thinking about this, and i have one idea, final, and the best.
Symbol of steampunk for me is a factory, with all those machines and power sources and everything... So i'm going to try to make a steampunk factory user added image with zeppelins, trains, transportations, steam-plant, air base, wind generators, and all those machines user added image

So if i make it in time - it'll be enormous user added image if I don't - i'll take part of it and post it as final user added image

So this is gonna be a large WIP user added image user added image

Sketches soon user added image

I wish I could sketch half as good as you did. Very nice model, this is gonna be a huge model, can't wait to see more WIP's, so far so good!
