Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

So to get things started I'll just post a couple quick screenshots I put together.
First, cause I was watching speed skating, Canada won a silver!!:attn:

And second, something abstract. Of course these are just quick little things. I'll spend some time on something a bit more interesting, with proper lighting.

Yeah, they're swoosh thingies, I did it in about 5-10 minutes. It was just an example, but didn't work terribly well. Ah well. Unfortunately I've had a family emergency and won't be able to finish this battle. Good luck to everyone else.

Thanks guys, I'm back in town now. Sorry I had to quit, but you know family takes precedence. Anyway, I'll start a thread in the finished work forum for all the final entries.
