uv seams on mesh

hi,

A real simple question to which I hope there's a simple solution! I've been trying out the new UV tools in 2017, which I'm liking a lot, but I'm bugged by the fact that I can't see the UV seams in the viewport as you could in 2016. Anyone know how to enable this, or if it's still an option?

It's still there. You can access it a couple ways.

1. The typical Display>Polygons>Custom Polygon Display and check on texture borders

OR

2. Select the object(s). And in the UV Texture Editor, the icon to the left of the checker preview texture turns on texture borders.

HI Gen,

sorry for the late response - I had no email notif. of your reply.

it doesn't seem to work the same in 2017 update 3 - the borders appear bold in the UV space, but not on the model in the viewport.

Yikes! They did change the UV Editor, maybe they broke something. This is why I wait a while before updating lol.

ha! yes everything's very different there, all for the better though I think. And I find the multi-colour checker gives a good indication of the seams.

I checked out update 3 and seams are visible in the viewport using the first method I mentioned.
Display>Polygons>Custom Polygon Display and check on texture borders
