Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Yeah there's definetly something weird going on around the mouth and it also seems like there's a little pinching by the eye. Could you post a wire?

A blue shader on your model might not be the best color to show off WIP's, especially when the background enviorment is so dark. I reccomend posting screen shots from your work panel. Showing wires is also welcome. user added image

Faces

I guess it's too crowded around the mouth's corners, I'll have to sort that out later. I can't seem to find the time to do some tweaking, the only spare time I have I spend doing major changes.

nice hair shape, I like it user added image

I think you need to check the edge loops around the mouth/nose as that might be why you're getting issues around the mouth (tris creasing wrongly).

Clothes

How do you make such cool lookin clothing? Are you extruding the collar of the shirt and jacket from the torso of the body, or are the clothes added afterwards as a completely different part?

It looks really awesome.

I initially wanted to add the clothes over the body, but I halfway changed it and extruded the parts where the clothes come off the body. I then changed the shape of the body to match the shape of clothes.

but I'm withdrawing. I thought I had about a month worth of spare time to work on this, but too many things came up. I'll post what I'd done up until now tomorrow.
