Rotor With Bake Pad. Hopefully i can get the suspension done soon lol so I can finally work on the axles. hmmmmmm

Yay, and a renered shot. LOL I just learned how to render in mental ray. Well I didnt actually learn alot, but just enough to make my rotor look realistic. Ok I know yall are sick of the rotors lol but im happy OK NO MORE ROTORS AFTER THIS unless its with other crap on cars.

Looks good but the rotor looks like plastic when it should be metal?

turn off diffuse and glossy and put spec to the max.

thatll make a chrome.

Lower the spec to ur taste.

Im trying to render a hugh file and its saying mental ray out of memory. How can I fix that because the computer im running has 3 Gig for Ram, a NVidia GeForce 7800 gxt graphics card and pent 4 3.8 Ghz processor so im not sure how im running out of memory trying to render the car I am working on at a bigger size.

the you have to enable the mental ray menu.

Do a search on google on how to activate mental ray meterials.

I cant remember how to do it off the top of my head.

Fond it. You can go under the menu render,-->lighting/shading-->Dgs_Material

Im about to do a test render. Thanks very much, I appreciate. I will be positng a new render to see if it came out the way it is supposed. Again, thanks very much

IT WORKKSSSS yes. Alright Its about time I hit the bed because I have a 9 am class. I didnt have chance to play with the spec color but I will tomorrow when I have time after class. This is just a rendered shot to show the chrome worked but This is NOT the final. Hopefully lol Tomorrow. I better be the best damn rotor maker after all this damn trouble lol turboDan, you were right with your first comment
