Great start mate, i didnt even finish a project for the first few attempts!

One trick i use is to create very simple boxes and pile them together to make a shape and proportion that works, then print them off and pencil trace over them to develope the idea, eventualy you will have created somthing you can use as a refference image to model to.

Thank you for the tip paldav, I will try it out for the next model!

(Currently IM making a ground-based battle in the future, so I get a lot of modeling practices for all the different machines and environments. (Yes, your star-wars wip inspired me))
