Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

SubScatter - LightEngine3D -

Hello again,
I'm sure I'm not the only one here that's trying to learn how to use this plug-in (I gotta make this short) but I need help. Is there anyone here using this thing and if so, are you getting results? Can someone help me set mine up to work? All I keep getting is a black character. No kind of SSS at all. It's frustrating me. Thanks in advance! user added image Excuse bad spelling... in a hurry here. :/

First bit of advice (I've never seen nor heard f the plugin) would be make sure raytracing is turned on. SSS will need raytracing

The Lightengine3d SSS plugin is quite well know, it's got implememtation for both the standard Maya renderer and support in shader form for Mr.

It's at www.lightengine3d.com

It's really nice, definately worth a look user added image
