Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

linux and maya

does linux and maya work together well ? i seen that on alias website said that would miss some features ..didnt know if any of you was running linux

I use maya on FC5 running KDE from time to time. While I haven't noticed any features missing it isn't as stable as on Windows. It might have something to do with the fact that for some reason I have to disable direct rendering or it will crash immediately. As a render slave it runs flawlessly...
