This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Cant really see your channel box to read what it says, but to me it seems that what you're looking for is to make an "IK Spline Handle", a lot of us riggers use that instead of FK joints for a back, mainly for cartoony characters of course!
