Complex UV Layout in Maya

Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

I've tried installing videomach on both laptop and PC, obviously I down loaded the windows file but all I get on both computers is a quick flash of the command box or what ever that black box is, No videomach?? The conversion program goes in OK but doesn't work without its partner, videomach??
any clues??

and it work without anthing esle good luck.

actually it did?? strange, last time it wouldn't 'do it'???? Loooks good, and simple (sort of) I hope the PC stays stab;e, it tends to run a few blue screens in the course of a day. Actually there was no conversion program on that site but videomach worked. I'll have to watch mike's tut again.
