Wrap deformers + deformable object

Hi

I did some wrap skinning to control the deformations of my character's face. It's all good except for the mouth area, where some vertices of the upper lip on the deforming object are "connected" to vertices on the lower lip of the wrap object, and vice versa. Does anyone know how to fix this?
