Scaling paint effects layer?

Hi, Im having problems scaling the paint effects layer to the scene. I have referenced the scene file to the character file and scaled up the environment to fit the penguin. When I try to scale up the paint effects layer it just spreads out outside the scene. It all moves around. I have trees and flowers and grass.... can anyone suggest anything? Do I have to paint all over again to fit the scene?

Thanks,

Jo

You might need to group the paint fx strokes and then scale the group.

a 640x480 jpg straight out of maya should be small enough. Otherwise open it in paint, and then resave it. Saves a bunch of size.

You don't have that many brushes at all, so adjusting the Global Scale attribute in each brush one at a time will achieve what you need.
Then simply reposition the brush to suit your scene.

If you have multiple brushes that are exactly the same, you can use "Brush Sharing" to make adjustments to just one, in order to affect them all.

Good luckuser added image

also if you are ever creating one brush and want to have several that are the exact same, you can duplicate them as instances of the first one that way whatever modifications you make to the first will automatically copy onto the others.
