First one was just a quick mock up of a digital painting I would like to do, the second is a WIP recreate of an image to get some practice before I try to do an actual digital painting.

Yeah, nice start sofar, keep it up!!! user added image A helpfull thing, in case you don't have any suitable reference fotos, which show the pose you're going for is to use poser software such as Daz 3D or Makehuman. Also adult sites have a lot of useful ref pics, cause many of the poses you would never see in any anatomy book or on a serious ref foto which was made for artists.

My painting of the cat character some posts above I made with help of such a ref foto for example.

Did a few clouds in PS...wasnt too hard though not sure if they are any good LOL...but hey no tuts just plenty of layers and chicken scratching.

Not bad, not bad at all. Steven Stahlberg, has a good tutorial on PS clouds. Just google it and you will find it.

Tried the new method THX...thanks for that...once I get the hang of it...and use inner glow outer glow etc a bit I reckon I will have it.
