camera clipping problem???

Hello.. sorry i'm posting a lot of questions, but i'm learning maya on my own and my demo reel is due in a few weeks. I'm desparately trying to render out my short, but it's not rendering what's in my veiwport. It seems to be rendering only certain parts of an object, but not the entire thing. I think it's a camera clipping problem, but i've been messing around with near clipping plane, and the far clipping plane from 500 to 1000 to 2000 and i end up with the same problem. Here's the image... i'm begging for some kind of response.

Your response depends upon my graduation... jk

Try setting your near clipping plane to something really low, like .001. That should help.

i've tried putting my near clipping plane at .001 and .000 and i still get the same problem. i'm starting to wonder if it's even a clipping problem. you got any other suggestions?
