moving around?

i know how to move the camera but when watching the tutorials i see the camera moving differently i only know how to move it zooming in/out and around using the alt left mouse i dont have a middle mouse button so how do i pan

Hi,

In Maya, not only moving the cameras but also all the other items are need middle mouse, so personally I think you really should need to buy a new mouse with the middle mouse button, otherwise I couldn't find an alternate solution for this, really.

In the viewport, go to View -> Camera Tools -> Track...

But yeah, you should definetly get a 3 buttom mouse...

ive got a 3 buttond mouse,
but my middle one doesnt work in maya :S
