Thanks Dudes

Have a snippet of some Previz animation Ive been doing with the lo res version....nothing special but an idea of what Im up to....between the modelling and texturing and other stuff. Hoping to start on the cockpit interior tomorrow, then the Pilot. For the Pilot Im using a friend of mine who is a film and TV extra. He has numerous periodic costumes including RAF uniforms (air and ground) as well as USAF Mustang Pilot too. He came over to the house a while back and we did a shoot of the Mustang Pilot stuff, including a live action shoot in the back garden of him on a stool with a stick. He acted the sequence out that I needed while I did hand held cam movements including one for this. I'll mainly use a digi double of him but the ref is always good, once Im done with it all I'll post it in the resource lounge

Well had some time today for myself, so been continuing with the pilot who is actually my best friend of 30 years. He is a film and TV extra for a living and has many costumes and props that he needs for various period dramas and so on. He has this original World War II fighter pilot outfit thats probably 90% of what I need for a P51 Pilot, the rest I'll use from stuff off google but the bulk of it is here. We did a huge photoshoot at my place in diffuse conditions so the shadowing is absolutely minimal and the images are 4k and will be used for the texturing. The zbrush shot is a test of the textures on a 20million poly head model

cheers

Well done Jay, it's so impressive to me how fast you are able to create such a realistic head....it would takes me days to do that and it definitely wouldn't be so clean like yours is, lol

May the good times and treasures of the present become the golden memories of tomorrow.

Achh, there's still so many techniques, tools, etc. which make modelling way easier and I do not have any notion about them at all.
