This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I think I'd like to attempt this one. I've fiddled with Maya enough that I think I should challenge myself a little. I have limited time to work on it but I think I should be able to crank out something even if it does look like a 3-year-old did it.
So I'm gonna be working with the cylinder, but I'm going to be modifying the base mesh a bit to get the look I need for my idea. I should be able to post progress on Monday.
