Building good low poly models makes you a more effecient modeler all around. It's easy to throw tons of polys into models to make them look smooth. Strip it down to 3000 and then see what you can do.

Mike, did you take any texturing courses, or something. You really know how to do nice effects and shadows on photoshop. The pants really look more like 3000 polys themselfs! Very nice. BTW, what tool do you use mostly when making the textures? Any in particular? K, Cya.

Kevin/M: Why dont you make a future challenge a low polly one. You could set the theme and a poly count that you cant go over or there would be no specific poly count and winner would have the best model with the lowest poly count
