This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Eighth Update:

Almost Done blocking in environment.

Going to go to my downtown and have a look at some of the eateries. To model a proper building. I was thinking of calling it something like, Phil's Donuts, and having some powder sugar and jam around her mouth. Maybe.

Dont know yet going to take a short break.

Thanks mmoore,

Update 9:

Started to go back in and bring more detail.

This is usually how I work.

1. Start by blocking out in Nurbs.
2. Go back in and refine with Polys.
3. Zbrush Work (If necessary).

Thanks Mike.

Update 10:

Finished Refine Level 1 of face.

Was going to go with photorealism look, then changed
my mind considering the style that I did the sketch in.
I guess it will look more Pixar-ish then anything.

Maybe Ill even render it in renderman for maya.user added image

Thanks Eldwick....

I just find that it helps me to block the basic forms out with nurbs first. And then convert nurbs to poly and go to town.

Now one of these days when I get in the industry they will say no no no we dont do things that way here.

Thats our field.

Oh Well, thanks for the compliment.
