HELP WITH ARM

some 1 please help me with making the arm bend like in the movie if you havent read the previous thread then i will tell you what im doing im making the doc oc arm off of the spiderman 2 movie i need hhelp on making it bend realistically
should i use joints or what

yes use joints. if you do not know how download the free joints tutorial (very basic), if you have points download one of the hand joint tutorials.

(the free joint tutorial will not show u how to animate, just how to work wit joints).

wit joints you can make it very realistic... i think.

well see i tried to use them but i used the smooth bind and
when i move the joints it doesnt bend right
it deforms into blob

hehe try adding more joints i guess, for each bend add a skeleton joint. i'm not very familier wit the movement, but pressing INSERT is usefull when u want to move only a specific joint.
