Ummm... are you allowed to use XSI? I understand taht you can use ZBrush, as ZBrush is part of the SimplyMax forums... but XSI is not part of any Simply site.

now- to the crits: I have loads.

Oh... wait I seem to have forgotten.

no crits from me! excellent model so far, and the topology is ace!

i dont think the modeling matters much as for what app is used. but i intend to use maya for rendering and rigging.

Ah well. No matter.

But is xsi purely a subdivision surface modeler, or does it have a poly modeling and spline modeling system too?? just wonderin

I appologise for chiming in on this vladimirjp, but you might want to read rule number 4 in the Rules and Guidelines thread reguarding what modeling Applications are acceptable for this challenge. Again, my apologies for bringing this up.

That's a real shame because the head is looking perfect.

Can he not export it to Maya and continue from there?
Fingers crossed!

yea, buddy, modeling is modeling no matter what app its done in.

its not like i cant continue modeling in maya since polygons are different in maya.. they are all the same, savvy?

I think I agree with vlad, cuz, see, the Mountain did not say anything about it, and he checks all the time.
I'm going to be doing alot of cross-app modeling myself, so I'm not gonna say anything else.

and to vlad:

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE NOW! :lmao:
