Looks way cool.. ummm my idea is this on the botems of the dark smoke puffs (<real technical terms there) add some yellow for the fire glowing on the bottem of the smoke..

don't know if you can do that in Maya its self or not. Is photoshop retuches alowed for the challenge?

but really looking good. I do like the changing to dusk more..

Yeah I believe photoshop is okay to use for some minor things. Like mist and smoke. I think at least but if not M buddy let me know before I do too much more to this smoke idea! user added image

I really like the fusion of purples and blues in the background. It gives the scene a darker feel to it.

Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the fact that the model is so far away from the camera. But you almost have to have him there in order to see the rest of the scene.

Wow, really looking nice. Now if you moved him over to his left a bit, so that hes at the edge of where the fire starts, then you could zoom in to your left and catch him in the corner. Actually, no.. that would then throw off the plane user added image

. It really looks nice wicket. Just yea, now i notice that the bad lighting at night makes it hard to see details. I really like it though user added image

Personly I would say lower the highth of the pic. cut them out from the bottem.. that will get the frame tighter on him. And yes the perpule looks really good. but maybe just a bit to much of it around the blimp ?

what about maybe having some fire(s) in front of the gundam to maybe show a reflective highlight on his body - might just bring him out a little?
