Okay did some texture stuff... Got the black to show better but I also created the one on the right. And I like it too... What you guys think?... I also could use it on other parts of the model... Well let me know. THX

Go with the Blueish shade, IMO looks more real, less toyish

Okay here's an update!
BTW thanks for the comments guys! I'm gonna do two versions one w/ the black and one blue then I'll put them side by side and beable to see really well which one! I'm kinda leaning towards blue as well! user added image

I made the wings and waited till the end cause they were a surprise! user added image

And he's done just need to make the weapon and shield and then it's on to finishing my base!

Nice job wicket, show me somemore. I like how you did your wings and legs. Just an opinion, if its ok with you, try using bevel on it so that it will look more cool than ever. user added image
