I want to know how to make something reflect

user added image How do you make something reflect like if you have text and you have a plane under it how do you make the Text reflect off the planeuser added image

you can do it in the attribute editor for the surface you want the reflection on, just select the shader tab (eg lambert) and set the reflectivity slider to an appropriate setting..you will also have to adjust the refractive index setting to the refractive index of the surface that you are trying to simulate (for example - metal) - have a look online through google for a table of refractive indexes - that will help you a great deal. btw you find the refractive index under raytrace options..once you've done all that its all done to rendering and tweaking - good luck with it!
