Yes it is Mayaniac. I'm pleased and a little relieved you think its good because as I've said, I'm confident I could have taken it quite a bit further.

Thats good if the render side is available, oh....perhaps im just rubbish then!! :-)i've been spending way too much time on it recently so gonna ease back a little this week, but what i look at will be more of the texture/render side. I'd like to learn about the other types of shaders and all that multiple connection/inputs/nodes stuff.
