3D fluid container emitter Problem

Hey there,

Ive been trying to follow along with some tutorials to create fire effects using fluids but keep running into the same issue.

When i create a default fluid container with emitter or emitter created afterwards the 'smoke' emitted appears all blocky and not smooth like they do in the tutorials. Ive set everything to default yet not sure what is happening. Heres some screens of what it looks like.
