Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

i am in for the challenge i too want mikenly`s book hehehe
till now what i have in mind is a fighter kind of a robot build for speacial tasks like a spy bot or a one man army thingi......working on the sketches

ok i have made some progress from my sketches ...... unfortunatlly couldnt upload them..... its a figter bot with guns n backpack......and a starwars kinda head...hehehe sounds kool huh..... starting on the head

ok heres what i have done so far
some what the body
minigun
head
detailing is still to be done those are just the basics

remaining :
back pack
legs
arms
stomach
feet
everything else and yes the details (so easy with out any poly limiit user added image )

Interesting! and that's based on the sketches? Having trouble seeing the connection, but great start.

On niggle on the guns barrels. The inside of the bores look like that stop at the point where the bores penetrate the disk.

yeh i know i got to notice that after i was done....dope ! :p ...... ill do something bout ehheheeh.......see in the skecthes the head is the same n the body and the left hand gun`s da same i got all tht in 3d in my head but like i said before my drawing sucks also the camera sucks

ok a bit of change in planes i always do tht hehe.........i wasnt satisfied much with the legs n feet i had decided for my robot. so i got this idea keeping in mnind the ability and personality of my bot , ill give it the tank kinda wheel chain type of thing tht would really look awesom on the bot.
