This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Take care

Cause I'm leaving for good.

I am annoyed by the poor judgement of the moderators.

This "whole thing/you know what" is too serious to be closed off by the moderators, due to minor flaming.

I do not claim to be reasonable in leaving this place.

But to present a point of sorts; the WTC did not crumble due to to the respectfullness of terrorists. Nor is the ongoing war much in "respect".

Some things get personal, and while I now state that I am not a potential terrorist I stand by my decision and I leave for good.

I do not support Bush! Nor Saddam! Long live UN!

Thats very sad undseth.

Sorry to see you go, although I did not close the post myself it was due to be closed as for once personal insults start being thrown back and forth the whole community soon can become this way, and I stand by my moderators. They do a great job on the board and as alike you - have there own beliefs.

Hope you visit back one day when you have time to reflect on this.

Best wishes and many thanks for all the enjoyment you have given many at SM

While im happy that u make a stand for what u believe in Undesth, I cant help but feel that u r overreacting somewhat. Im also disappointed by the decision to close the thread but I do not see why my art has to suffer. It will be a loss to not have a man of ur talent around.

And guys, as regard the thread, It was always going to be a contentious topic. I think it was a little harsh to close it because of something said in the heat of the moment. Sometimes u have to let these things run their course. Stopping a passionate discussion like this at its height leads to some pent up frustration and rash decisions. But hey im no mod. Its upto u guys to make the final decision.

Yeah thats understandable...I dont think the intent was malicious tho...i mean Undseth is a nice guy, just very passionate about what he believes in yknow. Its just a shame that he feels he has to leave.

edit:huh kev what happened to ur post? lol now it looks like im on drugs and replying to myself

Sorry to see you go, its a hard call, sometimes it is better to let these things play themselves out, however that said this is a Maya forum 1000s of forums around for political chat, moderators warned people if it got at all personal it would be closed and it was.

There is no need for you to leave because of it, many people im sure share your opinion, however mods decision post closed, and if you got to go you got to go.
