Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Adding joint, stopping previous joint from enlarging

Hi there could someone please help me
I am in the process of making a rig. I have decided to add one more joint on the end of the finger. When I click the existing joint with the joint tool and then click further down the end of the finger to add the new joint the previous joint becomes enlarged.
How do I stop the joint from becoming so big. I have tried to use the joint size slider tool but that just makes all the joints big or small but the joint which has becomed enlarged is still huge in comparison with the other joints.

Look forward to your ideas
Hope you can follow all this

Thanks
Tiaka

P.s
I have fix the problem
I was trying to add the joint in perspective view but when I changed to side view the added joint was the same size

Thanks again
