unsmoothed right? good so far...

im just trying to figure out that like a majority of the people who do a robot/mecha always start with the foot, and they always do the same kind of foot....

noone seen any other kind of robots?

but good so far. we see a smoothed version?

Do you have any references?

Yea, Laurie is right, but if you are not going for accuracy, its going great.

i think they are too wide. not sure about flat. but wide yes.

If you wanted a little more eye candy detail i would add a small, 2 very small hydraulic pistons going from the top of the toes to the feet. give it a sweet look.

wow! looking awesome! I suggest you go a bit lighter on that smoothing.. make it closer to the edges user added image... maybe dont even smooth.. just soften.. (for renders that is). Anyways, great job so far user added image.. looks like it has major potential. Keep up the good work.

Tnx everyone! I see I'll have to make some mayor coorections on this foot (like you said, toes, small hydraulics idea is cool (tnx), and some other things, as you can see). And I've smoothed it just to show how it looks.
Well, I was trying to get at first accuracy, but since I am still a n00b, I wan't changed my mind. I might to that again user added image
Oh, and that concept is not my, it's from verry good known concept artist, but can't remember her/his name-.

Tnx again!
