Add joint to existing skins

Hi all merry xmas,
Can anyone tell me how you can add a new joint to an already skinned character?
I have forgotten to put the jaw in but have skinned all the weights taking hours. I then exported the weights added the new joint then imported the weights again but it doesnt include the new jaw joint!

cheers all

Believe your out of luck. You can not do that unless you did an incremental save. If you did ** & should at all times ** all you would do is go back to a point in your saves & pick up a previous scene from there.
