Dude, why model a character with genitalia then cover them up. I dont understand when people do this. Ive seen guys do it with womens genitalia then put knickers on, seems a waste of modelling time IMO when concentration on other aspects could have gone else where ie; the thighs, as I have already mentioned.

Cheers
Jay

I think you need to round his hair off at the top as it looks unnaturally square. Long hair would tend to rise a little from the roots in the centre parting giving the head a slightly rounder appearance (unless he'd just been swimming or been caught in a downpour).
Just knocked up an image of what I mean, hope it makes sense...

Nice texturing btw user added image

Jay,
I cant see anything wrong with the thighs, if you could maybe draw some lines over the pic i would be most appriciative user added image I have a ref pic and it lines up perfectly, but maybe your right.

As for covering up his genitalia well, as i kept modeling i thought i would like to go a step further and complete a whole scene. And basically i couldnt think of any scene i wanted to do with a guy showing his genitals. Besides, i didnt del them, they are still there under the clothing. And well, you know what happends to pieces of rag in the wind?

by the way..
WARNING! - make sure you havent eaten just before searching on google for ref pics on hairy chest. eww

T1ck, thanks for your crits, i know the hair still has lots of work. I will get onto now.

Cheers

Have some reference. For human anatomy go to www.fineart.sk for any other stuff you require.

Hi everyone
Made a few changes, gave him a scar which you might notice, maybe its a bit over the top, let me know.
made his hair more wind blowen to add abit of mood, and fixed up the top of it.
Gave him a bit more of an angry or determend look in his face, some hair on his armsand legs , and also Jay, i widened those hips a little according to the pic you send me. You might not notice it, it was only by inches.
Thats about it at the moment.
Think i will start modeling his bow and arrow next.

hmm not sure. Im going to do a still first, then maybe some animation. Hes rigged for it so i might as well make use of it.
I have lowered the pinkness of the scar. it looks better, not so fresh.
Yea.. thinking about mud.. guess i should.. such a shame to make him dirty lol..
Oh by the way hes not going to be in a jungle. Its going to be a city, covered with jungle..
Just a little hint to what im planning user added image

made them in paint effects, then converted to poly. Im pretty happy with them. Something wierd with the shadows on the edge of them though, but you wont notice any of that in the scene.
