Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

merge several uv sets into one?

hello,
i have a model textured using several uv sets. i have problems exporting this, so i want to merge or copy the uv sets into a single one.

is this possible (manually, or via script)?

Thanks, Volker

I assume you mean that each UV set covers a specific part of the same model...? If so, I think you can just select the whole model and apply a texture to it. This should create a new UV set that has all of the UVs combined. You could then delete the other, individual UV sets.

I'm pretty sure this will work but you'll have to try it..
