This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

since Maya 8 there has been Maya 8.5 and Maya 2008. There's also a new revision of Maya 2008 with muscle systems etc. I thyink that the PLE (if that's what you're using) is currently at Maya 8.5.

Maya 7 is from 2005 or 2006, dont remember, thats old man, where did you snatch that cd from.

2k8 extension 2 is the current version.

I dont have it yet, have to get my producer to get me the license files.

i like the extension for some modelling tools they have added.

Hopefully in June i can get a hold on the upgrade.

Btw From Modelling to polygon is not a big step, they release all the changes everytime, its not more then a few pages.

Even with 2k8 they provide you with video`s showing the new stuff, how easy is that, it`s like the deliver you food on the table, you dont even need to step away from your desk.
