Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

texture problem

can anyone help me on this one?
in the first image i have a shape with a shader attached to it, in the seconde image i have a render of the shape! In the render the texture is all deformed, i've tryed to fix it in the uv texture editor but with no results user added image!

thx in advance, all the help is needed!

Have you trid just doing a planar UV map from above?

Planar map it if its a poly object, og use a projection map if its a nurbs object

no, i haven't tryed using a planar UV map, but ill try know user added image
