Extruded Face texture problem.

Hmmm..... I just learned to Extrude faces with the turtorial. GRAET tutorial dudes. But when everthing was going SO much better then before. I wanted to ad texture, But when i did this the texture got streched like....you know the hot place under earth.
What is the reason for this and what do have to do?

you have to UV map it.

How do I use UV map? And what is UV map?

Geometry requires texture coordinates in order to have textures display properly. These coordinates are designated UVW rather than the XYZ used in 3D space coordinates. Adding geometry, such as extruding or beveling or whatever, adds geometry that does not have UVs applied, so you have to apply them yourself. We have tutorials going over it here and I have a basic one at my personal site.
