And i didnt textured the chest and the paws cause i smoothed to fast :p.

the face doesnt look too bad but the body need a lot of work.have you looked at the cartoon dog tut.

Yeah i know the body sucks, but i smoothed too fast so i could not adjust it user added image
Well im gonna do Timon now, and this time i wont smooth to fast :headbang:

You can remove the smooth if you still have the history.

Just take every step easy and slow and plan ahead, I know, its easy to run straight into something and then have lost of problems.

Well atleast the head is oke, and you can see that its simba.
Atleast i think you can see it :p

Hey next time, instead of smoothing right away to see how it looks, you should try proxy smoothe or subdivision.

When I first started with maya I had this problem a few times too. Acctuall, I still have it sometimes. It helps if you make sure you allways have a second back-up file of the unsmoothed model. It does the trick for me.

You could also try to give the model soft edges iso smoothing it before it is finished (edit polygons - normals - soften/harden - [] )
Select your model, and the press the button 'all soft'. If you render the scene now the model looks pretty smooth. But in some cases this command just doesn't do the trick.
