This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

hmmm...

I was kinda worried when Autodesk bought Maya. But so far I think everything that has been implemented into Maya has been for the majority very positive. I know they're trying to merge, in a way, some of the good features of studio max into maya and get rid of what doesn't work in maya. I heard at this years GDC (Game Developers Conference) that Autodesk is going to completely get rid of Maya and Max eventually to create the ultimate 3D program. I think they're making the changes slowly but surely.

mirek03 - thats mainly because of the interface transition since Autodesk bought Maya. I'd expect that to settle down once more and tutorials made for Maya 8.5+ to be compatible till another major change happens.

Si

Examples of bTraffic - a traffic animation tool for Maya
bFlocking - a tool for Maya 8.5+ to generate flocking and swarming behaviours
