Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

UpRes an Output Mesh

Hey guys,

So I'm trying to make this simulation and I feel like I've got some pretty good groundwork:

The problem I'm running into is the output mesh:

As you can see, it's way too blobby and artifacts quite a bit.

Here's a screencap of the output mesh settings:

I've done liquid particles before and gotten WAY more detail than this. Does anyone have any input on how to make the output mesh look better?

Thanks in advance.

Your blobby radius scale looks a little high to me, you might need to lower that and up the amount of particles (render times will increase) ........................dave

Thanks Dave,

I'm in the process of upresing and lowering the blobby radius.
It's already starting to look a lot better and I'll post the results when I get something I'm happy with.

Thanks again!
