In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Anim_Lip-Sync

Here is my first lip_sync. I am moving on to the animation portion of my demo reel. I purchased "Stop Staring", It has been a terrific resource. Comments and crits appreciated. Animated in a few hours. Created in Maya 5.0.

Not bad. once you get the head moving about i can get a better idea what the final might look like.... Might want to try and give some of the vowels a bit more shape but its comming together.

Very nicely done! as soon as the rest of the facial expressions kick in, this will look most most excellent. Good luck partner.

Looks promising. The bottom lip looks a little to stiff. But that might be because of the personality your trying to convey, or the seen. I don't think it would be that stiff lipped though through out every thing.

re-worked the blocking in. I think it looks better now and fits unlike the one previous. Comments appreciated. I still have to add a little kitten in the foreground listening in.user added image

Looking better.. i would just try and speed up some of his movements a bit more he has sort of a dreamy aspect. Add some faster movments and you will see he will look more alive and natural.

I took a vid of my self for reference user added image I did about 20 takes until I found what I was looking for. I took your suggestions to make them more dynamic. Thanks for the suggestionuser added image

I am in the process of refining the first 1/4 of the my animation. Disreguard the lipsync and facial blends, I will be doing them last. Comments and crits appreciated.

Just to note: I haven't adjusted any of the curves yet in this clip to give it some snap.

Big improvement.... I would just bring the camera down a bit more so we can see a bit more of his eye since hes talking down a bit more.

I added some pauses in, cleaned up the back and head, shoulder and wrist movements. I need to fix the lip_sync in a few areas so it reads better. An I am ready to call it finished. comments and crits appreciated.
