Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Image Plane Visible in Viewport but not in Render

I've checked the far clipping plane to make sure it's substantial. My image size (I reduced in Ps) is now 1920x1080. Any suggestions for troubleshooting this? Also, I've turned off the VRay DomeLight but was getting the same result with or without.

I've attached the viewport view and render as example. I have also shared my camera settings. BTW, the camera setting in the screenshot only show far clipping plane of 1000.00. However I have tested up to 100000.00

Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

Is this an actual Image Plane or just an image on a poly plane? An image on a poly plane should render out just fine an image plane will not it's designed not to so...

Also if it is just an image on a plane what sort of shader is it attached to?

David,
As soon as I had read your reply I remembered what I had learned in class about image planes --> render. I'll try placing the image to a poly plane (vray mtl shader).

Thank you!
