Hand-code all the way user added image (I always use editplus)

But if I had to make a choice... it would definately be Dreamweaver... (this doesn't f**k up your code completely like Frontpage or GoLive)

whatever!

hand code??? you guys are either

1. NUTS
2. or have to much time on your hands user added image

dreamweaver all the way - it makes every day tasks sooo easy - and you can always edit the code by hand if you need a few adjustments user added image

Frontpage kicks ass, no questions about it. Out of those choices, i would choose FP. But i must say the BEST tool for making web pages....

NOTEPAD!!

Hand coding is the best way to go. But when i do use frontpage, i always take 30 seconds to get rid of the little bits of extra code it makes. There isn't much. But the added 30 seconds if nothing compared to spending 4 times as long in dreamweaver.

Yup yup, hand coding all the way, but if you need a proggie, FP is the way to go.

Now open!!

Hehe...have you ever exported tables from MS-Word as HTML?....*shiver* Dreamweaver is pretty much the way to go as it allows you to code the way you're most comfortable, hand-coding or wysiwyg. I mostly hand-code in DW but there are certain features that really save a lot of time when it comes to advanced layout (wysiwyg DHTML layers, advanced tables, etc.) and just general coding (code snippets, integrated ftp system between local/remote sites, etc.) Code cleanup is a snap also.
