Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Well, its about 4:45 in the morning, I have to get up in about 1 hour to go to work. I have been up all night rigging ET's ride. I was getting frustrated, So I took a break and made this composite for my intro to my animation. Let me know what you think. I rendered the bike in Maya, Composited, colorised and made all text in Photoshop. THanks,
Brian

Ha, Ha funny!!!

I have one thing to mention;
From a layout/desing point of view, the main motive here is both the moon and the rider I think.

But, as I see it, um... although there is a foreground and a background, this usual contrast isn't that strong in your pic.

Maybe the rider should be made smaller in contrast to the moon, for giving that "balanced contrast" (self contradictory statement, isn't it) in the picture.

Or maybe it is the intimacy of the zoom/camera that seems a bit unusual.

But this is just what I think.

This is the coolest bike I have see to date user added image. Nice design and modeling job looks sharp. One crit you put so much detal in to the model that the two shocks? on the front struts loook to plain and out of place. Just my opinion user added image Great job.

or you could reduce detail everywhere else - if you only need it for the moon scene. i would like to see more light on the bike. in the movie i think you could see it with more contrast.

just my $0.02
