Free Compositing App for MacOSX

Found this app a while ago when searching for something else.

It's called Edo, and is a completely free compositing app for Mac OS. There are some sample files, and there is documentation in the Support section.

It is a node based app, similar to Shake on the Mac. Take a look if you are on OSX and don't have a compositor.
