Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

incandesance shader

look at this incredible movie (4 min)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6ejP...&feature=email

i asked the lad about the deformations ect.., amongst other info he said this (hope he doesnt mind)

'The material is a custom shader made of pics I took of cloth (zoomed in). color, bump, specular, and a special incandescense map that kicks in only on shaded areas (makes it look like light shines through). '

any clues what this shader might be made of and what renderer.., obviously a sampler info nde.., but im no expert

ill prove it..,
