Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

WOOD

Hi, had a look through the resources post for links to textures but the usual suspects dont really have any good results for nice tiled wood - for furniture etc.

Could anyone oblidge me?

Arroway textures are awesome, I did a small blog post on it and a swatch refresh script I made, since the large resolutions on these can slow down the shader refresh times to a crawl, making material tweaks a headache.
