starting maya 2011. beginner basic tutorials?

hey please could you give me ideal links to basic tutorials on model making ect as im wanting to learn maya!

Hi reis,

I agree check out the Maya help files they're very useful and a lot of people miss them. Then have a look at some of the free stuff on this site, there's a few short good modeling tutorials there.
If you want something a bit longer we have a tutorial called the haunted house which is a lot of fun and a great beginner tutorial
